What era of music do you like most

So as a dj I often see times where my music tastes are like Jekyll and Hyde. I realized that the music I dj with has a great contrast to the music I just want to listen to. The latter, for me is quite diverse. I realize my mood sets the tone, but overall, I would have to say 2000s rock is where it sits for me, if I'm not listening to something dancy.

What era of music is your preferred era?
